A three-part full-stack web application for an industrial chimney-cleaning company: a public corporate site, an admin panel and a client portal.
Overview
Sardur Engineering is an engineering firm specialising in industrial chimney cleaning and scheduled maintenance. The engagement reshaped the company's digital presence into a single three-tier platform: a corporate website, an admin panel for internal operations, and a dedicated client portal.
The Need
The firm's operational excellence in the field was not reflected in its digital channels. Client relationships ran largely over the phone and on paper, maintenance history was slow to retrieve, and the corporate presence had fallen out of date. The goal was an integrated solution that strengthens visibility, consolidates internal processes in one place and gives clients a transparent service experience.
The Solution
Corporate website
The public face of the company: service scope, reference projects and corporate identity — optimised for search, fast on mobile and built to capture quote requests.
Admin panel
An internal operations tool built on Filament v4, where content, clients and maintenance records are managed from a single hub. Site content can be updated without technical support.
Client portal
A secure, authenticated area where each client accesses only their own facilities, maintenance history, post-cleaning photos and videos, and related documents.
Automated client notifications
After every cleaning job, the company attaches photos and videos from the site to the relevant record and sends the client an update email with a single click. The client can then review the completed work, with its evidence, in the portal. Post-service communication moves away from phone calls into a standard, traceable and evidence-based process.
Architecture
Because the three interfaces share one data model, they live in a single Laravel codebase. A maintenance record created in the panel appears in the portal immediately; a service description updated in the panel is reflected on the website at once. This removes the need for data synchronisation and an extra API layer between separate applications, significantly lowering the cost of ownership.
Separation between the tiers is enforced architecturally through three mechanisms:
- Route groups and middleware — Site, panel and portal sit in independent route groups; only sessions with the client role can reach the portal.
- Query scopes — Client queries are automatically restricted to the relevant records by scopes defined at the model level.
- Authorisation policies — Every sensitive action, such as downloading documents, is verified server-side; access control is never left to the interface.
Technology
The corporate site is built with Blade, Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js for a lightweight, fast front end. The portal's interactive components run on Livewire without page reloads. The entire platform is managed in one language with one build pipeline, which supports long-term maintainability.
Impact
- The company can manage its corporate content without developer support.
- Clients have uninterrupted, self-service access to their maintenance history, photo and video records, and documents.
- Post-service updates have become a standard, evidence-based process, delivered by one-click emails.
- Operational records have moved from scattered sources into a single system.
- Design investment has been directed where it creates the most value — the surfaces clients experience.
